This last weekend me and some of the other journeygirls got to visit some of the other missionaries in Maun. None of us had been there yet and we wanted a chance to see the town and ministry there. Maun is a 12 hour drive north from Lobatse, it's just north of the Kalahari desert. We were able to go to a women's Bible study in a nearby village (where we got the chance to practice more of our Setswana) and then went to Maun Baptist church on Sunday morning. Jeff and Stacie, the missionaries in Maun, have been there for 8 years. Jeff is an avid hunter, like my supervisor Robert, and had animal mounts all over. This is me next to the kudu, one of my favorite African animals!
