After school let out last week I decided to take a few days and go out to a nearby village to stay with my friend Tlhalafang. It was very peaceful out there. I enjoyed just hanging out with her and practicing my Setswana. One weird thing... they had cable TV in their home, so for the first time in over a year I watched a few shows like Dr. Phil and several American and South African soap operas. I must say it got tiring very fast, maybe it's just that I'm not used to it anymore, but I realized that TV is not one of the things I miss from home!
